In our film, we question the long term effects of assisted death laws on society. One of the most telling stories came from a woman named Margreet (The Netherlands) whose mother was euthanized without request.

During an emergency hospital stay, 25 year old Candice Lewis (Canada) says doctors tried to pressure her into an assisted death. One year later, Candice – who lives with Cerebral Palsy – is back doing what she loves most, painting and spending time with her family.
